Aborting Church from State

May I remind you separation of church and state is not in the Constitution. This is a construct of the “Church of Progressive Secularism”. By the way Atheism is a religion, Agnosticism is a religion, Environmentalism is a religion and diversity is a religion, as are Islamism, Buddhism, Judaism, etc, etc.

Citizens of this country have freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. This country was founded on Christian principles and values. These are not only still valid today, they are needed more than ever.

I heard a quote the other day that rings true to me. “Laws do not make Good people. Laws only control Bad people. The Gospel can make Bad people Good!”

Back to the fictitious separation of church and state. It was only mentioned in a letter from Thomas Jefferson years after our Constitution was ratified.

Our government was designed to be run by “Godly” people. Remove God from the government and the public square and we will then get the arbitrary bureaucratic anarchy we then deserve.

Why this sudden fear of religion? All the religions I mentioned above thrived without government imposed rules for religion. Now the enemy is within and cheered on (and probably supported) by the enemies beyond our borders.
Why are we allowing this to happen? Under the guise of diversity, we are constricting religion so we do not offend anyone!! There is no right in this country to not being offended!!

Pay attention to who is tearing down our country’s culture. What is their background? What is their heritage? Who is supporting them and why? Tearing down our culture is not the way to improve it.

God Bless America, please.

In the U.S. interest rate are going lower, Gold is going higher, Oil is going higher, inflation is going higher, the dollar is going lower. What is wrong with this? Everything! At some point the FED is going to have to raise rates bigtime. We are in a very, very, precarious situation at the moment. I think Gold will tripple to over $2,000 an ounce when the market finally wakes up and sees the real inflation. Last I checked a lower dollar = higher import prices. There is no inflation deflator here. With commodities on fire you can forget about that. Bernanke should have never lowered rates last week. However, the Fed might be doing something that few have talked about. Maybe the Fed has abandoned the dollar to crush the trade deficit. Good luck, it will take 20 years to correct our 6% of GDP trade deficit and move it back to under 1% of GDP, unless you want to seriously disrupt the global economy. We are in for tough times people. Very tough! The FED will not be able to save housing with lower rates. We are in for a 10 year decline in home prices. It is called a cycle!

Someone has a fantasy definition of religion. What dictionary did you get that out of?

Since when are Atheism, Agnosticism, Environmentalism and Diversity religions, you moron.

I think you need a study a bit more law. The establishment clause of the first amendment does the best job (though not the only one) of defining the U.S. as a secular nation with separation of Church and State.

You are really reaching now.

Our nation was not designed to be run by godly people. It was created by, primarily, atheists.

Why do we fear religion? Maybe because they burn people at the stake, run off on "holy" crusades and kill millions, lynch people, require people to believe things they don't want to, and, most of all, ignore facts they don't like.

"Yet it moves!" -- Copernicus

Religion can be VERY scary.

One of the bigger things that kills me about this whole immigration movement bullshit is the bullshit argument that Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, etc. were somehow "stolen" from Mexico by the big, bad, evil USA. Oh, because, that's right, Mexico was such a peace loving utopia with the most magnanimous leaders this world has ever seen until we provoked them into finally taking up arms (and, they would have us believe, they did so begrudgingly). GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK. Ever heard of the Constitution of 1824??? Where was your fucking peace-loving Mexican Utopia when Santa Anna decided to wipe that Constitution with his ass??? If any nation was ever a war-mongering, land-grabbing nation it was Mexico, and Spain before it. We stole the southwestern states??? Go cry me a river. Apparently history began when Mexico lost their land. Bullshit.

The only thing someone who professes this bullshit can say, while still being honest, is that we won, they lost, and they are bitter about it. And it's not as if their culture made such a huge impact at the time to even claim that it was a de facto Mexican state. This isn't the Rhineland. This isn't Alsace-Lorraine. The culture(s) in these regions, be they American, German, Scandinavian, Irish, American Indian, or anything else, not only rivaled but overpowered the "overwhelming" Mexican influence they claim they had. These regions were more Americanized than angry Mexicans today could ever hope to believe (why do you think Santa Anna rescinded the Constitution of 1824??? Texas was becoming too American and too hard to control under Mexican rule.). Most Mexican culture that is now commonplace in these regions is because of the gracious, freedom-loving culture of the US that embraces other cultures and allows outsiders to practice their customs freely, not because these regions are just "so obviously Mexican". If Mexico wants to claim these regions as their own, then I suggest they order their "army" to gather both their rifles, get on their squadron of mules, and just try to "take it back". Otherwise, shut the fuck up, stop taking advantage of a putrid welfare system, and, hey, here's an idea, maybe try to improve your own damn country instead of holding the US responsible for it being the shithole that it is.
